Jonathan Gutterman is in the PhD program for Learning, Development, and Instruction. Jonathan received his bachelor’s from Columbia University, majoring in Anthropology with a minor in Education. During this time, he also earned his NY State teacher certification and volunteered at public schools in Harlem teaching Conflict Resolution and Theatre. In 2017, he earned his Masters at the Bank Street College of Education, where his thesis explored how anxiety affects school-age children. For over a decade, he has worked with students ages 3-16 in diverse settings, from special education and private schools to summer camps and after-school programs. Jonathan’s main interests are in developing and enriching professional development for teachers.
